Looking for Eugene E. Mitchell

At the Myrtle Beach reunion, someone mentioned that Eugene Emery Mitchell Y3c was known to be residing in or near Calais, ME, that he owned property in Nova Scotia (perhaps New Brunswick) Canada and gets his mail weekly from a PO Box. If you were this person, or if you know who had this information, please get in contact with me as soon as possible. I have been unsuccessful to date in developing any information about our shipmate from the other Mitchells living in Calais.

FROM THE FLAG BAG

From Bob Allen: Upon seeing a light ahead in the darkness, a Captain directed the following transmissions:

Captain: Please divert your course 15 degrees to the North to avoid collision.

Reply: Recommend you divert your course 15 degrees to South to avoid collision.

Captain: This is the Captain of a US Navy Ship. I say again, divert your course.

Reply: No. I say again, you divert your course.

Captain: This is the aircraft carrier USS Enterprise .We are a large warship of the US Navy. Divert your course.

Reply: This is a lighthouse. . .it's your call, Sir.
