USS Champlin Reunion Group

"Hear Ye, Hear Ye, Hear Ye; let it be known to all points of the compass, and unlimited skies, that the officers and crew of the U.S.S. Champlin sailed the seven seas, sometimes on an even keel, sometimes atop the waves, and oft times under the waves - - took untold lists, but were always on station. Let us dedicate this association to the destroyer sailor, and his ship, the work horse of the fleet. No assignment was too big or too small." The USS Champlin (DD601) Reunion Group was established in 1981 with membership composed of persons who served aboard the Champlin in any capacity. The objective of the Group was, and is, "to seek out former crew members and to hold annual reunions. As of January 1, 1999 there are 153 members on the official roster. Annual reunions have been held each year since 1981 at the locations and under the leadership listed below.
