Post World War II Life Experience:

Following his discharge from the Navy, Richard returned to study at Pace University where he earned his Bachelor's of Business Administration, graduating in June of 1950.

Richard then joined the work force working for the next eight years with two accounting (CPA) firms in the New York City area.

He married his wife Shirley in 1952, and raised three children.

In 1959 Richard formed a partnership and practiced Public Accounting and Taxation until 1964. He then opened a solo practice where he practiced until his retirement in 1990.

Richard eventually moved from Long Island to his current location in Mid Hudson, New York in 2003.

His favorite USS Champlin memory is the action surrounding the Wake Island Attack.
